It is with great honor that the OH Rotary Club recognizes George Rice as our 2024 Rotarian of the Year, celebrating
his unwavering passion and impact on our community and beyond. George is a cornerstone of our Rotary family and a
true embodiment of service and dedication. As a charter member with an impressive 40-year journey, George has not
only served as Club President 3 times, but also held the esteemed role of District Governor for Rotary District 7780.
His commitment extends far beyond leadership titles; George's legacy is woven into the countless hours he has devoted
to community projects, from the innovative "Lobsters for Sholars", recording volunteer hours and selling cheese wheels
just to name a few. He exemplifies Rotary's cherished motto, "Service Above Self", in every facet of his contributions.
